Film Industry.
The films we previously researched have been produced and directed by these companies. We researched into independant and smaller companies and found one called 'Dimension Films' they have previously distrubuted films such as:
-Piranha
-Scary movie 4/ 5
-Devil's knot
-Scream
-Darkness
-Halloween
-Phantons
-The crow
The company started distrubuting in n 1992. The Weinstein Brothers took this label with them when they departed from the Disney-owned Miramax in October 2005. Which means they already had a pretty big budget to start with so it isnt independant as it was part of Miramax but it isnt anymore. These are just some films they have distrubuted, as many of them are in the horror genre we thought it would match our film opening as that genre is pyschological thriller, therefore similiar to ours.

Here is our collection of storyboards- We our going to use these everytime we film. This will save time when filming and give us an idea of every type of shot we need to use.
Music
When making film opening we cant use copyright music therefore we have asked someone to produce some peices to use in our 2 minute clip.

Character profile- Adam Tippet.

Adam is 17 years old, which is a similar age to the target audience we want the film to be made for. We wanted a mixed gender group to film however neither character ended up using dialect so it didnt seem as important anymore. Adam is in a dark coat in the footage which is quite mysterious, he is tall too and the only shots of him are over the shoulder which can create suspense. We think it works as you often seen someone lurking about in the background and this person normally tends to be quite dark which fits the conventions of a horror.
Character Profile- Parys.
Parys is 16 years old, which is a similar age to the target audience we want the film to be made for. Although we have a mixed gender group to film with we decided its better if Parys is the main focus as she is a girl and conventionally a girl normally dies first in a horror. Parys is wearing a plain white top, a grey hoodie and girls sandals. These clothes arent paticuarly 'loud' or stand out, but we thought this was better as she is just a quiet, innocent girl who is walking home. Considering she is walking home late at night on her own it suggests she may be a bit dopey and slow as to how the actual world at night is.
